The Healing Project: Cleansing the Soul

Updated: May 30, 2020

Release your soul with affirmations. Reclaim your personal power and heal your life. Use the tools of listening and hearing, contemplation and reflection, and the wisdom of meditation.

Many of us have been made to feel unworthy of life itself. It is imperative that we fight through the darkness and emerge victorious in the Pure Light of our Soul.

Jealously, regret, resentment, and anger can only destroy our delicate sanctuary. Our bodies are inhabited by the most precious of treasures: our souls.

Recognizing Soul Loss

While traveling life’s unpredictable path, we encounter various levels of energy.

The lower levels drag us over the coals, threatening our dreams, and binding our hopes with coils and coils of toxicity. In the meantime, the Light struggles to break through the fog. Here and there, streams of Light enter pointing out The Way.

Before the journey can be safely made, we have to shed the fears of our birth. Creating a new vision is vital, if we are to re-direct our birthright.

All of this takes time.

Self-compassion is a fantastic first step. Don't throw pity parties. Explore and recognize your talents and skills while accepting your shortcomings.

Being humble is not self-denigrating. Much to the contrary. It has an uplifting, progressive quality about it when, ego and pride is diluted and a healthy dose of joie de vivre is force-fed into the spirit.

One of the most pleasing ways to cleanse your mind of the noxious thoughts that have found their way into your consciousness is through the use of affirmations.

It is all too easy for us to believe the painful words uttered by a close family member or anyone we trust and love. That is where the danger lies. As we listen to an endless loop of words that bury us in depression, despair, and feelings of worthlessness, we begin to internalize this poisonous diet as truth—our personal truth.

It usually takes twice as long (if not longer) to re-program ourselves once that contagious poison has paralyzed and brainwashed us. The damage it does is vibrational and echoes through our bodies to be transmitted to everything that comes in contact with us.

Mindfulness keeps us from overreacting when someone willfully attempts to trigger us into a state of wretchedness. That is why we must be very careful to not allow those who hunger for injurious circumstances and rawness of spirit a place at the table that we have created for our own peace of mind.

Tranquility attracts everything you need. If you can cultivate peaceful thinking, the battle is not only won. There is no battle! Offer yourself an olive branch.

A favorite affirming petition is the Prayer of Jabez in the Bible, 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJV):

“Oh, that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory and keep me from evil that I may not cause pain.”

The prayer for a larger vision for your life is tantamount to your success.

A video, “Why People Fail,” produced by Les Brown, renowned author and motivational speaker teaches us this:

“Most people fail in life, not because they aim to high and miss. Most people fail because they aim too low and hit.”

Aim HIGH! Fulfill your dreams. Your dreams are your birthright.

We know, much like the woman in the poem, “Mother to Son,” by Langston Hughes, “life ain’t been no crystal stair.” Yet, somehow, we can all find a way to move ourselves forward. The tacks and the splinters are temporary.

Dreams have the power to propel us into the future with a magical force that few have the courage to harness.

Know that you will experience a moment of resistance on your path of transformation. This is an inflection point, a chance to break down or break through.

If you want to know about reincarnation, start by trying to rebirth yourself in your present life.
